A friendly crowd browses calendars at Pegasus on Solano, January 1st

Every New Year's day, Pegasus and Pendragon Bookstores sell a huge selection of the coming year’s calendars for $3.99 or 3 for $10.00.  Next January 1st, over 750 of the most popular and beautiful 2010 titles (60,000 calendars total), from Amber Lotus, Brushdance, Avalanche, Universe, te Neues, Graphique de France, Pomegranate, Taschen, Tushita, Catch, Tidemark, Workman, Sellers, Browntrout--- in every calendar format available--- begin selling at 10am at all three locations.

  Over one hundred people stand on line to be first into the stores. We see friendly faces from around the block and across the bay. January 1st at Pegasus and Pendragon has ben a a neighborhood tradition for over 30 years.
