A friendly crowd browses calendars at Pegasus on Solano, January 1st

Every New Year's day, Pegasus Bookstores sell a huge selection of the coming year’s calendars for $3.99 or 3 for $10.00.  Next January 1st, over 600 of the most popular and beautiful 2011 titles (60,000 calendars total), from Brushdance, Cameron, te Neues, Graphique de France, Chronicle, Pomegranate, Orange Circle, Taschen, Tidemark, Workman, Sellers, Browntrout--- in every calendar format available--- begin selling at 10am at all three locations.

  Over one hundred people stand on line to be first into the stores. We see friendly faces from around the block and across the bay. January 1st at Pegasus has ben a neighborhood tradition for over 30 years.
